Sandip Shah, President
Sandip Shah is the founder and principle of Market Access Solutions is an experienced pricing strategist, is focused on providing global strategic guidance in pricing and reimbursement at all phases of pharmaceutical and medical / surgical product development through to customer segment contracting.
Over last four years, Sandip as president of Market Access Solutions, LLC has led a global Pricing and Market Access consulting practice managing over 50+ projects in multitude of therapeutic areas.
From 1994 to 2004, Sandip was with the Johnson and Johnson Family of Companies, where he has developed optimal Pricing and Reimbursement strategies for the pharmaceutical as well as medical / surgical sector and worked with local operating companies globally to implement recommendations. Prior to joining Johnson and Johnson, Sandip was in charge of inline product pricing and contracting at Glaxo Pharmaceuticals.
Sandip has 22 years of experience in the healthcare sector, including sales and inline marketing. He has also managed sales and marketing services departments including compensation and forecasting.
John Proach, Partner and Managing Director
John is a principle partner and managing director of Market Access Solutions and an experienced market access and reimbursement professional. John started his twenty five career healthcare marketing with Warner-Lambert in product marketing directing product promotion and medical communications to professional audiences. He held positions as an account executive at Ted Bates Advertising and management positions at Cliggott Publishing and Hospital Satellite Network.
In 1991, he was recruited by Pearson PLC as Executive Vice President for Churchill Communications and Churchill Livingstone Medical Publishers responsible for corporate marketing sales strategy and service offerings for US, UK and EU markets. He established Churchill Health Economics group focused on market access, outcomes and pricing research. He has developed and implemented over 30 country specific and global reimbursement strategies for pharmaceutical and medical device products.
In 2001, he established Triage HealthCom a market access and reimbursement consulting group. He holds a BS degree in education and an MS degree in business communications from New York University and CCS from American Hospital Information Management Association.
