Vice President, Global Market Access and Pricing

The VP, Global Market Access and Pricing at MKTXS is expected to play a key role in supporting market access initiatives to assess market needs, generate payer evidence and devise strategies to help clients achieve optimal pricing and reimbursement (coverage, coding and payment) for their products and services in relevant markets globally.

Responsibilities: The candidate will lead the development of market access strategies for pharma/biotech clients, aligned with the commercial and clinical needs of client’s portfolio; understand the market landscape to define commercial opportunities and assist clients in developing brand and portfolio strategies and ensure that market access considerations and the payers’ perspectives are integrated into the product requirements, the clinical development programs, and the commercial strategies of client’s current and future assets; conduct research involving payers and key influencers to understand the stakeholder needs, determine optimal price attainable within context of product’s value proposition, ascertain optimal ways to communicate overall product value to defend price, and accordingly, devise strategies for clients to help secure or expand reimbursement opportunities.

Essential Qualifications: Minimum of Master’s degree with a focus in relevant health science arena. Demonstrated record of achievements in Market Access and Pricing field. Strong market analysis, strategy development, presentation and communication skills. Minimum of 10-12 years of experience, with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development.

Additional Desired Qualifications: In-depth knowledge and understanding of US and European payer systems and reimbursement challenges and opportunities. Hands-on experience in executing payer research. Understanding of global health policy issues. Tenures within both Pharma and consulting arena.

This is a full-time position and will be located in the U.S. in Raritan, NJ. Remote/home-office location may be considered. Salary and benefit details are competitive and will be provided to qualified candidates of interest.

Manager / Director / Vice President, Evidence Generation

The Manager or Director or VP, Evidence Generation at MKTXS is expected to play a key role in supporting evidence generation in the areas of health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), disease epidemiology, and/or health services research to support pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients globally.

 

Responsibilities: The person will be responsible for designing scientific research initiatives (such as retrospective chart review studies, retrospective database initiatives, cross-sectional surveys and prospective observational cohort studies), operationalizing these scientific initiatives (developing & implementing research protocols, developing tools/questionnaires, working with fieldwork teams to coordinate data collection/synthesis), analyzing data and communicating results to relevant stakeholders. This will include developing/presenting abstracts at scientific meetings and preparing manuscripts for peer reviewed scientific journals. The candidate will have responsibility for the management of budgets, contracts and timelines. This person may have the opportunity to mentor and/or manage other staff, as a function of prior experience and position title.

Experience in conducting HEOR initiatives. Experience working in a relatable scientifically oriented organization, preferably in consulting environment. Experience in following areas: oncology, immunology, rare diseases.

Research Project Coordinator

The ‘Research Project Coordinator’ within MKTXS will be provided training and hands-on experience in a broad-range of epidemiology, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) and market access projects. This permanent position will allow the candidate to gain proficiency in project management and related research methodologies and its overall operationalization as it pertains to the fields of epidemiology, HEOR, Health Services Research and market access from the perspective of pharmaceutical industry and governmental organizations. The candidate will gain in-depth knowledge of global healthcare systems and stakeholder needs for real world evidence and market access issues, while managing global projects.

 

Responsibilities: The person will be given an opportunity to participate in the project management aspects of scientific research initiatives globally, while dealing with relevant internal and external stakeholders. This may include developing project plans, conducting project management activities under the direction of a senior scientist and interfacing directly with sub-contractors, consultants and pharmaceutical clients.
